Beautiful crepe myrtle blooms.
We saw crepe myrtle everywhere but this particular specimen was at the hospital where my nephew was born.
I love the bark on these trees.
The next photos are all in my sister's father in law's yard. First we have this very bright azalea. I love the pinks in this bloom.
Penstemon blooms with pulmonaria in the background. There is also what looks like a baby oak tree coming up at the bottom.
Not really a bloom, but can you see the mistletoe mixed in with the rest of the leaves on this tree? I will give you a hint. It is the dark colored area.

Any place we go there will be great photo opportunities. The photos are beautiful, I love the crepe myrtle.
Crape Myrtle is a beautiful tree. And you're right, the bark is beautiful. Your shots from Alabama are really interesting.
The crepe myrtle flowers looks like the tree in front of my home. I agree with what Rosey said, we don't care where you took the photos. The important thing is that you took the photos and I love photos, photos, photos in the posts. I have enjoyed your travels too, Jackie. Keep up the posting.
Oops, I'm sorry for the typo error, my dear Jessica. It was really meant for you. A thousand apologies. I think my fingers cannot coordinate well with my brain. It is 5:45am here now and I am really really hungry.
